I have had the pleasure of working with so many talented and passionate wedding pros over the years. I’ve followed my couples from the river valleys to the mountain peaks and everywhere in-between; here are just a few of the people and places that make weddings in Big Sky Country so special.

Wedding Venues and Secret Spots

Your guests will love the rustic charm of these local venues. Feel free to ask me about them to see if they’re a good fit for you.

If you’re looking for a private little adventure and some spectacular scenery, these off the grid spots will make you swoon. I probably have some photos of these areas, just ask. A little hiking may be involved!

  • Mallard’s Rest – Yellowstone River, south of Livingston
  • Beehive Basin – Big Sky
  • Ousel Falls – Big Sky
  • Hyalite Reservoir/ Grotto Falls/ Palisade Falls – Bozeman
  • Fairy Lake – north of Bozeman
  • Three Dollar Bridge – south of Ennis
  • Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park – yes, I do weddings here all the time, ask me about the details.
  • Your Favorite Spot – there are countless places that would make the perfect backdrop to your wedding day, and I want it to be special to you. Let me know what you’re thinking – I’ll probably be game for anything!

Photography and Videography

There are literally hundreds of media pros in the area, but these are the ones that can not only get the right shots, but are fun and efficient too.

Music and DJ’s

I love showing up to an event knowing that the tech stuff is going to be run by a pro – and these guys will make the big day elegant and fun!

Florists

Flowers give that special touch to every occasion from simple to elaborate. Just make sure you can hold the boquet with one hand as they can be huge!!

Cake and Caterers

We take food seriously in Big Sky Country and no wedding is complete without the cake – after all it symbolizes how you will feed each other in the days and years to come. Plus, everyone loves to celebrate your big day with a little food and drink!

Formal Wear

Even out in the wilderness, you want to look great for your wedding day but still feel like yourself. And yes, “Montana Casual” is just fine too…

Hair and Make-up

You might also ask your photographer who they recommend, as they have more contact with the behind the scenes vendors.
