I love it when couples have a table full of photos of family members who are not at the wedding but are indeed "with us in spirit". I look at the photos - some old, some recent - and they instantly make me think of my own family. Maybe it's the 80s clothes and furniture in those old photos, or maybe it's because we all have similar memories of loved ones, but I know it's really because we're all the same deep down. 🩷💎🩷

A spontaneous elopement wasn't part of their trip, but it all fell into place once they contacted me. They wanted to get married in a big open meadow, with winding streams and tall grass, and of course, I knew exactly where to take them.

Sometimes the best things aren't planned. (They even bought their outfits that very morning!)
